The Booz Will Get You Every Time: London Trader Banned.

As the popular Jamie Fox song goes: Blame It On The Alcohol.
Well no says the Financial Services Authority (FSA), the UK financial sector watchdog, as it handed down a ban on a trader for “a lack of honesty and integrity.” Apparently the FSA frowns on making $10 million dollar trades and concealing it from superiors and oh yeah, how could I forget, doing so after a three and a half hour alcoholic lunch. What a bunch of party poopers.
All joking aside, this is a very serious issue. This was the first time the FSA has every handed down a ban on a trader – a profession notorious for its booze and drugs – in connection with impaired judgement due to alcohol consumption.
