Canada: Budget 2009
Today is budget day in Canada. While every budget is important this one holds significant for two main reasons:
- 1. it will or ought to contain Canada’s (Conservative government of Canada’s) economic stimulus plan. It will/ought to contain items on infrastructure; the environment; and tax cuts just to name a few.
- 2. it could have political consequences with the minority Conservative government being brought down if all the opposition parties vote against it.
